Find Yourself: Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real

After cutting his musical chops the past ten years, Lukas Nelson may finally have broken through to the national stage in a major way. His latest album "Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real" is a great effort and I can't stop listening to Find Yourself, a fantastic track that is gaining some serious traction on the radio charts. The video clip is the band performing the song October 4, 2017, on Conan.

And if the combination of the name Nelson and music rings any bells, it just may be because Nelson's father is none other than Willie Nelson. Lukas was a major contributor to his father's 2012 release "Heroes". And, success builds on success, as the saying goes. In 2014, Neil Young made Promise of the Real his touring and studio band.

As of now, Nelson isn't showing any tour dates on our side of the country other than an April 29, 2018, date at the Stagecoach Festival in Indio, CA. Here's to hoping the tour routing includes a swing through the PacNW.
