Many have picked up a guitar and played the instrument, but no one has ever played the guitar quite like Jimi Hendrix. His rock n' roll impact continues to be felt and he has inspired so many over the years. 

With the level of love and admiration that Jimi Hendrix’s fans have for his music, a show like Experience Hendrix (2019 Tour), which just played at Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall is fitting and is needed. The first thing that stands out is the caliber of the show’s lineup. From blues legends like Buddy Guy, rock virtuosos Eric Johnson and Joe Satriani among others shows how far reaching Jimi Hendrix’s music impact was on our music culture.

The Arlene Schnitzer stage saw some of today’s best guitar players play with ferocity, sweet emotion, but overall all the artists came together showing their highest levels of respects for Jimi Hendrix, his music and their performances would have made the man proud.
