By ERIC STERN // As there is so much already out there on YouTube for this genre, this is just a short intro lesson for seasoned pianists, with an initial performance, of course.
Hi there, my name is Eric Stern, and I tell stories with music. I've appeared on NPR and performed at the Kennedy Center,The Great American Music Hall, Joe’s Pub in NYC in San Francisco, throughout the Northwest, and internationally from Portland to Paris to Poland. But right now, I'll be appearing in your living room! No, don't get out your masks and hide the fridge! I just mean that I've got an exciting new Youtube series, Jukebox Radio, where I perform a song and then go deeper into the details. It's sort of a behind-the-scenes look at what goes into making music. After experiencing many months of the Covid shut-down, with venues where I play unavailable, I decided that I still wanted to perform and would find a way! Well, through the science of video and audio I'm giving you a show straight from my garrett studio, every week. And I'm SO excited to have Oregon Music News cover this work! Now sit back, pour yourself a glass and enjoy!
JUKEBOX RADIO EPISODE 8-STRIDE PIANO Part 2! As there is so much already out there on YouTube for this genre this is just a short intro lesson for seasoned pianists, with an initial PERFORMANCE, of course. PLEASE watch Part 1
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tMHapyBxpeY&feature=youtu.be What makes my two-part series different than others is that I include CONTEXT (most of which is in Part 1).
