by Alison Webster // There are many times when Portland, Oregon gets passed up by huge international tours, so I will have to travel to get coverage of many touring bands. This time, I flew to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and the gorgeous city of Boston, Massachusetts to experience the Bullet For My Valentine & Trivium's 'The Poison Ascendancy' Tour, which has been taking place throughout Europe, The States & Canada in 2025.

There are many times when Portland, Oregon gets passed up by huge international tours, so I will have to travel to get coverage of many touring bands. This time, I flew to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and the gorgeous city of Boston, Massachusetts to experience the Bullet For My Valentine & Trivium's 'The Poison Ascendancy' Tour, which has been taking place throughout Europe, The States & Canada in 2025.

Bullet For My Valentine, who are from Wales, are celebrating their 20 year anniversary of their first album from 2005, that put them on the map, ‘The Poison’.
BFMV have not played Portland, OR since October 01, 2013. I have traveled to Vancouver, B.C. and Los Angeles, CA. to capture coverage of them.

Trivium, from Orlando, FL. last played Portland, OR in 2022. Trivium are celebrating their 20 year anniversary of their very first album, ‘Ascendancy’, from 2005, that got them where they are today.

I first experienced both Bullet For My Valentine & Trivium during the Mayhem Festival Tours in 2009 & immediately became a fan.

Both bands put on a great performance at the MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston, MA on May 02, 2025, which is right next door to Fenway Park: Home of the Red Sox - Boston.

'The Poison Ascendancy' Tour ends their celebration in The States at The Rockville Festival in Daytona Beach Fl. this Sun, May 18, 2025.
