Brass Tacks: PDX Spotlight's May show - full show video
Do you know what "Oregon Country Music" is? Find out.
It was a Country kind of Mother’s Day on PDX Spotlight when this first dropped. Brass Tacks considers themselves “Oregon Country” which crosses such musical boundaries as Southern Rock, Classic Rock and good old fashioned country music. Singer Andy Good draws much of his writing inspiration from real life in the small town of Molalla Oregon. The show kicks off with the authentic country sound of “Pioneer” from their most recent EP and includes a few unreleased tracks that country and rock and roll fans alike will enjoy. Good’s personal approach to songwriting is most apparent in the bands touching rendition of “Front Gates,” a tribute to Good’s late grandfather.
