I had the opportunity to, once again, photograph one of the last shows that Foreigner will ever do. Their touring days are slowly winding down, as their farewell shows are coming to an end.
They opened the show with Double Vision & performed hit after hit,
Head Games, Cold as Ice, Waiting for a Girl Like You, Dirty White Boy, Feels Like the First Time, Urgent, Drum Solo. Juke Box Hero, I Want to Know What Love Is, & Hot Blooded.
In every city that Foreigner performs in, they bring out winners from a local high school choir to sing, 'I Want to Know What Love Is'.
Co-Headlining on the bill with Foreigner is the classic rock band, STYX.
Fronting STYX is the fabulous Mr. Lawrence Gowen, who steals the show! Gowen does not miss a step with his flamboyant stage moves on top of his spinning pedestal, while playing his spinning keyboards, backwards, forwards & kicking up his heels! What an amazing performer.
Opening for STYX & Foreigner show was John Waite. Remember the songs & videos, Missing You? Change? Yes, that John Waite. John gave a solid, great performance, even though the sun was shining on him.
Catch the nostalgia of these classic bands while you still can!
