2019 Mardi Gras Ball Saturday

One of the nation's most authentic Mardi Gras celebrations happens this Saturday as the Mysti Krewe of Nimbus holds their 9th Annual Mardi Gras Ball at the Tiffany Center Emerald Ballroom in Portland.

The event is always one of the highlights of Portland's music scene and features great costumes, music, food, and an all-round high level of revelry. The theme for this year's event is Tableaux on Pirates Alley, a dual reference to the alleyway behind St. Louis Cathedral in New Orleans and the grand balls of the city's historical secret societies.

Musical acts for this year's ball include the Northwest Bones Gang, the Too Loose Cajun and Zydeco Band, and BrassRoots Movement.

Tickets are still available in advance for $30 or $35 at the door for the 21+ event. Doors and music kick off at 6:30PM.
