Michelle Bean: Catfish Lou's / Coffeshop Conversation #204

By SCOTT CUNNINGHAM // Michelle Bean of Catfish Lou's joins us this week talking about the venue's first two years on the PDX music scene and their upcoming move to the west side.

Under most circumstances, a new music venue changing locations after being open for only two years would signal underlying problems. In this case, however, Catfish Lou's has no such worries as they leave their Northwest Portland location to head to the west side of Portland. Michelle Bean, who owns Catfish Lou's with her husband, joins us this week to discuss the move, their new space, and the lessons they have learned so far as they have quickly become one of the best blues venues in the area.
