Jimmy Makarounis Benefit poster released

Tickets are going fast for the Apr. 23 benefit in honor of Jimmy Makarounis, the founder of Jimmy Mak's in Portland who passed away earlier this year. Proceeds from the event will be used to establish a music scholarship in his name at Portland State University.

Confirmed performers for the event include Mel Brown, Bobby Torres, Dan Balmer, LaRhonda Steele, Andy Stokes, The Yachtsmen, Jarrod Lawson, Paul Creighton, Moose E. Lee, members of Soul Vaccination, and the Chris Brown Quartet.

Reserved seating balcony tickets are sold out, but general admission and VIP seating at reserved tables on the main floor are still available. Tickets can be purchased through the Roseland Theater.
