Jason Alberger: : Artichoke Store Manager and friend to Coffeeshop Conversations #275

By TOM D'ANTONI // Final new episode for 2020 with someone who has been facilitating our recordings at Artichoke, and a musician himself...Jason Alberger.

This is another OMN Coffeshop Conversation at Artichoke Music. The final one for 2020. The next two weeks you’ll find our best two conversations of what has been an awful year.

I’d like to thank everyone who as been a guest on the podcast. It hasn’t been easy, but it sure has been worth it.

January we will return with a couple of interesting episodes including Ben Landsverk and Andrew Durkin.

But to wrap up the year I wanted to sit down with a guy who has helped facilitate every episode we’ve recorded here, Artichoke’s store manager Jason Alberger.

He’s also a guitarist and composer and I don’t know what we’d do without him.

In my book, Jason Alberger is a "rock star". He not only does an incredible job as the Store Manager of the Artichoke Store, but he is also a talented musician and songwriter. In addition, Jason volunteers his time to teach guitar lessons to under-resourced children as part of the after-school music program at Portland Tennis & Education. Thank you for recognizing him...he is "part of the heart: of Artichoke Community Music!!
