Her beloved daughter Marika wrote this today:

"On Wednesday, March 9th, 2022 I lost my mother, Inese Brunins to heart failure. I am at a loss for words but I do know the cosmos gained a shining star. She was surrounded by love and family, and I was holding her hand in her final moments. Es tevi mīlu māmiņa, daudz bučas. ❤️"

And this from Portland Radio Project

Inessa Anderson had a long and storied career in radio here in Portland, after studying dance in New York and performing.

Her husband Wayne passed only three weeks ago.

She was beloved.

I am in utter shock. Inessa was like Tinkerbell... but with a velvety voice.... all I can hope is that her beautiful spirit is flying high on its way to meeting up with Wayne. I'm gutted. Sweet Inessa. RIP.

I have known Inese since she was a cheerful, animated little girl. I am glad that she was able to have a satisfying professional career. It is sad to see her leave us at such an early age. May she rest in peace.

I was that sales representative for Sony Music in Portland for many years. I remember Inessa as always being very kind and personable. We had a few fun adventures together in the music scene. She was a sweetheart and I’m just so very shocked and saddened by this news.
My heart goes out to Marika who I never had the pleasure of meeting, but always heard about her from her proud Mother.

I’m in shock. Inessa was one of the kindest and most gentle souls I’ve ever known. It was because of her that I became involved with Portland Radio Project. And whenever I needed a female voice for my radio program or audio business, she was my first and only choice. This is a real loss for music, Portland and the planet.

Rest in peace, angel voice. You and Wayne will be sorely missed. It's hard to believe you're both gone

Inessa will be sorely missed. She was a brilliant interviewer and supporter of independent music, both local and national. I loved interacting with her, and this is very sad news indeed. Heartfelt condolences to her family and friends.
