Final Cerimon House concerts of the season "Get Out While You Can" features Portland Jazz giants.

Two days, Shelly Rudolph and Tom Grant, The Mel Brown Organ Group,  Devin Phillips, George Mitchell, Billie Eidson, Wes Georgiev Saturday 10/17 and Sunday 10/18 at Methven Family Dundee Tasting Room to benefit Cerimon House

In our final "Get Out While You Can!" series, Cerimon House's fundraiser, hosted by the gifted Shelly Rudolph, is a star-filled event.

Saturday begins at 1pm with Billie Eidson on vocals and incredible young pianist Wes Georgiev accompanying. Come enjoy the afternoon!
The main event starts at 4:30pm with the incredible talents of Shelly Rudolph and Tom Grant, playing songs in arrangements they've made famous in the region. Devin Phillips caps off Saturday. Devin is a soulful, fiery, and versatile sax player who took Portland by storm as soon as he set foot here after moving from New Orleans post-Katrina.

Sunday starts again at 1pm with Billie singing, accompanied by her fellow board member at Cerimon House, Paul K. Ward.

The main event of the day again features Shelly, your host -- but this time with two of the Pacific Northwest's best and most in-demand musicians, Tim Gilson (b) and George Mitchell (p)
.
Your appetite whetted, the headliner delivers: Mel Brown, the godfather of Portland jazz, heads the Mel Brown B-3 Organ Group with top organist Louis Pain and Dan Balmer (g) and Renato Caranto (sax)
.
All under Methven's Dundee Tasting Room tent, with bottles of wine available for sale in the tasting room. A perfect end to a season that calls out for more joy -- COVID-safe, with bathroom attendants and socially-distanced tables.

Here's an episode of OMN LIve with the Mel Brown organ trio. Produced by Scott Cunnngham.
