Rainbow appears as Detroit Tigers honor Aretha Franklin

By SCOTT CUNNINGHAM // Magnificent rainbow comes into view as team holds moment of silence for the Queen of Soul.

An incredible sight unfolded in Detroit last night in the Detroit Tigers first home appearance since Aretha Franklin's death last week.

Just as the team was honoring the Queen of Soul with a moment of silence, a magnificent rainbow appeared over the scoreboard. The team posted a picture of the moment on their Facebook page with the simple caption, "Some pictures say it all."

Indeed.
