Dublin’s own, Dermot Kennedy returned to Portland this November along with support from English singer-songwriter, Grace Carter and left the once again, sold-out crowd, eagerly awaiting his return.

Kennedy opened with fan favorite ‘All My Friends’ and quickly silenced any conversations happening amongst the crowd as all eyes were now focused on Kennedy. His compelling vocals filled the room as fans sang and danced along with Kennedy, not missing a beat. Kennedy then picked up his acoustic guitar and started playing ‘A Closeness’. The moment the music started, the energy coming from the crowd was astonishing. He has an immense passion for what he does and anyone lucky enough to catch a live performance will not regret making the decision to purchase a ticket.

Grace Carter made her Pacific Northwest debut and captivated the hearts of many with her staggering vocals and heartfelt words. Carter shared a series of personal songs relating to many different experiences growing up, one of those being ‘Why Her Not Me’, a song about her absent father during childhood.

Kennedy wrapped up his US tour on November 19th in Los Angeles, California with yet another, sold out show.
