NEA Jazz Master Todd Barkan talks with Lionel Cole, nephew of Nat and son of Freddie in a Portland Jazz Festival 2019 at the ArtBar on 2/25/19

PDX Jazz announced on Saturday 2/23/19 that Freddy Cole, brother of Nat "King" Cole was ill and would not be able to make his festival appearance. In his place, and talking with NEA Jazz Master, impressario/producer Todd Barkan, owner of the legendary Keystone Korner Jazz club in San Francisco. Replacing Freddy Cole was his son Lionel. He told stories about his father that his father might never have revealed!
