Arietta Ward brings light and inspiration: Looking forward to another 400 episodes of Coffeeshop Conversations @ Artichoke Music #401

By TOM D'ANTONI // As we begin another 400 episodes of the podcast, MizEtta is at Artichoke with her own special brand of light and inspiration

If you were with us last time, you heard the story of pianist Dave Fleschner, his addiction and recovery. That was Coffeeshop Conversations number four hundred. A special occasion.

So is this. As we look to the future, I thought what better way to proceed than by bringing in that carrier of light and good will (and good music) Arietta Ward, MizEtta as you know her.

We need her and her personality. My goal over these past several years of tribulation, goals both for OMN and on my KMHD radio show, has been to inspire and comfort my audiences. Especially with these two episodes, four hundred and four hundred and one. This episode celebrates Etta and Janice Scroggins, her mom, one of the most beloved Oregon musicians….ever.

You gotta think that Janice would have been proud of how Etta has lived her life, both as a musician and a source of inspiration.
