Terry Robb: Coffeeshop Conversations #79 - From his new album to deep Blues to Jimmy Durante

By TOM D'ANTONI // Listen to him talk about his new album and hear a track from it! And a whole lot more.

Back in the cupping room at World Cup Coffee and Tea again for another in the endless series of OMN’s Coffeeshop Conversations.

I’m Tom D’Antoni and with me today is the legendary and extremely celebrated Blues guitarist, composer and producer Terry Robb.

He’s in the Oregon Music Hall of fame.

He won the Cascade Blues Association’s Best Guitarist Muddy Award so many times, they had to stop their membership from nominating him any more and named the damned award after him.

It’s always fun to catch up with Terry. I have the feeling we’re just going to sit here and bullshit about music, but first we’ll talk about Cool on the Bloom, his new album.

We’ll hear a track from it, too.

Let’s talk with Terry Robb:

The tune at the end  is "Christmas In Istanbull" from his new album and features Doug Smith on guitar, Albert Reda on bass guitar and Jeff Minnick on percussion.
