Pixel Grip DJ Set, September 6th at Holocene - Preview

If you caught Pixel Grip’s Perceptide Tour II last November at Revolution Hall, you are well aware of the trio’s ability to make a room erupt into dance. Especially when they invite their female audience on stage for the hit “ALPHAPUSSY.” This September Pixel Grip is back and this time will be exerting dominance over the Holocene dancefloor for a DJ set on Sunday September 6^th.

Pixel Grip make dark dance music that is highly immersed in raw sexuality and rave therapy, and if that is any indicator their tracklist for Holocene will be a delving into their influences with a similar underground club sound. A remix by KAVARI of the track “Noise” off of the Pixel Grip album  Percepticide: The Death of Reality was released this month, and will hopefully make its way into their set. On the track all of the band’s signature vibes are on display, walls of heavy industrial low end, Rita Lukea’s melodic vocals pouring out her heart, and bouncing glitchy production.

But if you need anymore reasons why you won't want to miss Pixel Grip behind the decks look no further than their remix of the Nine Inch Nails track "As Alive As You Need Me To Be" released earlier this year.
