Pamela Des Barres (nee Pamela Miller), author of several memoirs of the early days ofh rock 'n roll, spoke and read from her extensive diaries and memoirs, at Portland's Siren Theater, on Dec. 5, 2024. The audience was predominantly female. The first and best-known of her memoirs is called "I'm With the Band", aboutf her evolution into "the world's most famous groupie." She was joined on stage by Michele Overman, a contemporary.
