Marti's Music Kitchen: Podcast world premiere! Her guests LaRhonda and Lauren Steele.

The DEBUT of the new "Marti's Music Kitchen" podcast, singer Marti Mendenhall visits with LaRhonda Steele and her daughter Lauren, both singers themselves. Food and music!

 On the first episode of Marti's Music Kitchen, we are cooking with Portland's First Lady of the Blues, LaRhonda Steele and her daughter, Lauren.  We talk about everything from peeling potatoes in Oklahoma, her succesful battle against cancer to helping homeless Mothers with the Lullaby Project. We are also cooking a Steele Family favorite, called Gloopity Glop! Just what is that, exactly? Listen to find out and read below for the recipe and links to LaRhonda and Marti. Recipe: LaRhonda's Gloopity Glop

Ingredients:
1 Sweet potato diced
1 Russet potato diced
1 Red Onion diced
1 Red Pepper cut in strips
1 Green Pepper cut in strips

1 package of Andouille Chicken Sausage diced
3 cups Kale
1⁄2 cup of olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Fry potatoes until brown in olive oil
Remove from skillet.
Brown sausages add onions, peppers rest of olive oil.
Kale and potatoes back into pan
Heat until Kale is softened.
Salt and pepper to taste
