Jay Bozich aka King Fader: Coffeeshop Conversations #110 - Portland's live audio wizzard

By TOM D'ANTONI // The multi-talented DJ/sound wizzard, etc, etc, etc has been a behind-the-scenes star since the 90s.

Thanks for finding us again. Live on tape from World Cup Coffee and Tea at NW 18th & Glisan in Portland, it’s another OMN Coffeeshop Conversation. You can find us on iTunes, SoundCloud and TuneIn in addition to the OMN website.

Wth me today is Jay Bozich, one of the unsung heroes of the music scene in Portland. You may know him as King Fader from his DJ work in clubs.

He also has added magic from the board that even the musicians can’t match in his work with live bands. Sometimes he does sound reinforcement only. He is currently handling sound at the Jack London Revue, a new club in the Rialto downtown.

He’s done a whole lot more than that. You’ll be amazed. He was there when you were there, even if you didn’t realize it.

Let’s meet King Fader, Jay Bozich.
