greaterkind live-streaming on OMN Live Sunday at a special time - 3pm

greaterkind will be spreading love and inclusivity through the medium of music and agriculture as they live-stream On OMN Live Sunday September 20 at 3pm on the OMN Facebook page.

greaterkind formed in Portland, OR in 2018 by three friends on a communal mission to spread love and inclusivity through the medium of music and agriculture.

Channeling elements of jazz fusion and funk with undertones of R&B, gospel and hip hop, greaterkind sets out to do something that is new. A product of playing together in numerous live situations, greaterkind’s music is rooted in improvisation which brings a different and special energy to each show.

Space and creation is key to process. The band includes Charlie Brown (keyboards/vocals),Cory Limuaco (drums), and Peter Knudsen (guitar/bass/vocals), but while the foundation of the crew is the three members, greaterkind acts as a hub and shares that title in many different facets in the Portland scene.

While cultivating their own identity and music, gk has played with and backed many artists including Ghost-Note, The Hamiltones, Jarrod Lawson, Chirstian Scott, Amine, Saeeda Wright, Ashley Jayy, and many more in the greater Portland area.
