Crystal Ballroom latest to suspend concerts in wake of virus

Crystal Ballroom announced suspension of concerts due to COVID-19 virus

Here's the statement the Crystal Ballroom released today.

As many of you know, Oregon's Governor Kate Brown instituted a ban on gatherings of over 250 people in the state of Oregon. The ban is slated to last for four weeks but could be extended.

In the immediate term we have suspended sales for all shows at the Crystal Ballroom into the second week of April, and are exploring the possibility of rescheduling each show so ticket holders have the option of simply applying their current tickets to the rescheduled date. Ticketholders will be emailed as shows are either cancelled or rescheduled, and we will also post show information on our website (www.crystalballroompdx.com) and social media platforms.

At this juncture all Lola’s Room shows are slated to go on as scheduled at a capacity that will adhere to the 250 limit. Any cancellations or postponements will be announced on our website and social platforms.

Refund requests for all shows may be directed to refunds@etix.com.

The health and well-being of our customers and employees is very important to us. We are monitoring the coronavirus situation in all of the communities where McMenamins is located. We are carefully following CDC and state guidelines, including frequent sanitization of surfaces and frequent, 20-second handwashing. As always, McMenamins employees are required to follow common sense guidelines by not coming to work if they show symptoms of illness. In addition, any employee who has traveled to a CDC-identified high-risk country must have a release to work from their doctor or refrain from working for a minimum of 14 days. Any employee who has been in contact with a person with a confirmed case of the coronavirus is not allowed to work for a minimum of 14 days.

We at the Crystal Ballroom are grateful for the patronage of our amazing music community, and look forward to once again providing you all with a full schedule of shows. Until that day, please protect yourself and those around you by following all the CDC and state guidelines!
