Charles Neville, saxophonist for the Neville Brothers, passed away today in Massachusetts. Neville had been battling pancreatic cancer.
Aaron Neville, his brother, took to Twitter for a heartfelt statement, saying, "You'll always be in my heart and soul, like a tattoo."

Brothers Charles, Art, Cyril, and Aaron were the founding brothers of the iconic New Orleans' band that formed in the mid-1970's, releasing their first album on Capitol Records in 1978. The band's last performance as the Neville Brothers was in 2015 in New Orleans.
Charles is survived by his wife Kristin Neville, daughter Charmaine Neville, sons Talyn Neville and Khalif Neville; sister Athelgra Neville Gabriel, and brothers Art, Cyril and Aaron.
