By SCOTT CUNNINGHAM // New single is well worth a listen
Love him or not from his past, there's no denying Billy Ray Cyrus has some great vocal chops and has always had a captivating stage presence. Cyrus has worked hard the past several years trying to reboot his career and reached new heights this past year sharing three Grammy Award nominations with his collaboration with Lil Nas X.
On the heels of that success, Cyrus has just released a new album titled "The Singin' Hills Sessions Vol. 1 Sunset". The lead single from the album is a cover of Neil Diamond's "I Am...I Said". Diamond's version has always felt lonely and sparse, with his vocals providing the perfect setting for a man utterly alone.
Cyrus takes the song to an entirely new level and is well worth a listen, especially given the larger context and trajectory of his career.

I love Billy Ray Cyrus music since Achy Breaky Heart came out many years ago. I am a long time fan of his and was fortunate to meet him many times at shows and other function, You will never meet a more sincere and caring Man.
He is a wonderful singer, songwriter, entertainer and actor. I can`t wait to get the new album hope it comes out very soon
