Back To The Future: The Musical. Keller Auditorium. Portland, OR. June 16, 2026.

"Great Scott!" What an exciting event!

This production of the Back to the Future: The Musical delivered an unforgettable experience from the moment fans arrived at Keller Auditorium. There were two DeLorean time machines displayed outside the venue, welcoming die-hard fans and setting the tone for an evening of nostalgia and excitement. Many fans arrived dressed as their favorite BTTF characters, doning 1950s and 1980s inspired outfits for costume contests. Winners included a Marty McFly, a Doc Brown, and an energetic 80s aerobics instructor.
This massive production features impressive sets, props, costumes, special effects, and a cast of exceptionally talented performers. Of course, the true star of the show is the DeLorean itself. Together, these elements transport the audience through time, immersing them in both the 50's and 80's.

The performers excelled in every aspect of their craft, seamlessly blending singing, dancing, acting, and physically demanding choreography. Their high energy and talent were evident throughout the entire performance.

The technical aspects of the production are equally remarkable. The set and effects teams accomplished the daunting task of bringing the DeLorean to life on stage, creating the convincing illusion of the iconic car racing through time at 88 miles per hour. It felt like stepping into the classic Back to the Future ride at Universal Studios. The special effects elevated the production to next level! During the climactic lightning storm sequence, even the sensation of wind helped pull the audience deeper into the story. They even had bubbles floating into the audience during the Enchantment Under The Sea dance.

Every scene was so mesmerizing. Every piece worked together to create a magical theatrical experience that captured the heart, humor, and excitement of the beloved film.

I highly recommend catching this incredible production. Whether you're a lifelong Back to the Future fan or enjoy spectacular live theater, this is a show that shouldn't be missed.
