JSO Honors Hall of Fame Voices Shirley Nanette & Rebecca Kilgore at Alberta Abbey on 6/10/2023 - Photos
A special event benefiting the 43rd Annual Cathedral Park Jazz Festival, presented by the Jazz Society of Oregon. The concert put the spotlight on three dynamic vocalists, all of whom have been inducted into the organization's Hall of Fame. Backed by pianist Steve Christofferson, bassist Tom Wakeling, and drummer Charlie Doggett. Original lineup included Nancy King, who was unable to be there due to illness, but the crowd sang Happy Birthday to her via speakerphone.
