The OMN debut of 'Tone Journals' - Edna Vazquez - video

By GUY BAKER // "The recording studio, it’s a place where you leave things behind – your fears, your inhibitions, your doubts. If so, what’s left is a place where an artist is vulnerable, a place where an artist is pure and only then does it become a place where the music can be brought forth. This is the place where I chose to put my lens."

OMN is proud to present the first in a  regular series of videos by Guy Baker. Watch for #2 next week.

Combining my love of the recording process with my passion for storytelling has created a work that I am proud to finally share: TONE JOURNALS is a in-studio mini documentary series that features Pacific NW artists, the studios and producers who help capture and shape their craft. Today's release is a culmination of a year's worth of effort and many collaborators' voices.  Please enjoy the first episode: Edna Vazquez recording 'La Única' at Kung Fu Bakery Studios with Javier Goyes and Kris DeeLane and the Hurt recording 'Corroded Angels' at Sean Flora's Rock n' Roll B n' B.
