Heart Hunters talk with Inessa: Carving Out the Bardic Tradition / Audio Q&A

By INESSA // What inspires the current music making thoughts of Bri and Drew, to the political world and how to navigate it, to plans for the long view in their family and musical life, and finally to the new Heart Hunters album American Eclipse

Armed with that new album, finally done, and now offered up to the world, Heart Hunters have hit that musical road that is part family vacation, and part “rockstar” adventure. Welcome back to your other home, Bri and Drew.

As always, so much to talk about. Never enough time, but Teri Briggs and I managed to squeeze in some good convo together with Bri and Drew ahead of their album release celebration, here at their “other ” home in P-Town.

We talked it all. Stepping stones between Atlanta and Portland. What inspires their current music making thoughts, to the political world and how to navigate it, to plans for the long view in their family and musical life, and finally to the new album American Eclipse and the metaphysical side of the name. Think “shaded in the darkness shadow”, as Drew puts it. They are representing us in the humanist egalitarian side of life.  Drew and Bri. True believers.
