Cody Jinks drops new single, announces Portland date

Texas outlaw country singer Cody Jinks dropped a new single this week in advance of his upcoming release "Lifers", his first on the Rounder Records Label.

Jinks will be appearing at the Crystal Ballroom in Portland on Friday, August 10. Tickets go on sale this Friday June 22 at 10:00AM.

Must Be the Whiskey showcases his smooth, deep vocals in a song that contemplates the tenuous nature of a relationship caught in questions of what is real versus what what can be attributed to the influence of alcohol.

His last release, 2016's "I'm Not the Devil" hit number four on Billboard's Country Albums chart. In his most recent appearance in Portland, Jinks sold out two consecutive nights at the Wonder Ballroom, so expect the Crystal date to sell out as well.
