This is September’s PDX Spotlight show.

The garage rock duo Kool Stuff Katie made their musical match after a Craigslist meet up and quickly found that they shared similar sonic taste and a drive to create. Their straightforward and minimalist approach pairs fuzzy electric guitar chords and crisp snappy drums, providing an open landscape for lyrics that plead for simplicity.
